This wonderful, gentle, almost magic, Document Cleaning Pad is simply a must-have for those who handle, store and frame soiled, dusty, mouldy and time-worn mementoes, curios at, photos , papers, card and documents.
The pad itself is a soft miniature cloth pillow which contains a fine, grit-free, crushed, particle mixture. It can be freely and liberally used for the gentle rubbing of papers, since the pad contains a super-soft grit-free powder that absorbs dirt and dust. Users can simply squeeze and twist the pad to allow powder to sift through the mesh and adhere to the cloth. Any soiled paper is gently rubbed with the pad to remove dirt marks from paper surfaces.
For very fragile papers, powder is sifted over the page and dirt gently removed with a soft brush. The Document Cleaning Pad never needs washing, even when the pad appears dirty.

What brilliant little tool this is ! We’re antiquarians in Sydney and regularly get old letters, maps, certificates etc, to clean, restore, conserve or re-frame. Many pieces need a bit of a clean especially if they haven’t been stored in a proper solander box. This Document Cleaning Pad is really useful and cleans off old dust, dirt, grit and mould beautifully in most cases. Definitely worth the money.
