This box picture frame and box photo frame, has a pane of clear glass, a 2mm MDF~Craftwood back, several steel swivel clips or flexible tabs to hold the frame firmly together and, depending on the size, a hinged standback, strut or leg.
These are wood picture frames made from MDF ( Medium Density Fibreboard) and considered environmentally friendly because manufactured from reconstituted wood waste which do not contain forest timbers or green wood chips.
The tabs of this 13x18 cms Box Wood Frame can be bent back to remove the back so as to insert the photograph, certificate or artwork inside the frame. After inserting the art, the tabs can be bent back and the fitted frame may be hung or stood.
The fitted hangers at the back of the frame allow for portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) wall hanging. If sold with a standback, leg or strut the frame may be stood on a table or desk. No fitting or servicing by a picture framer is required.
This 13x18 cm Box Wood Frame will suit any artwork for its stated size herein and is shrink-wrapped for your cleanliness and protection. The natural paper foil finish applied to this frame may feature occasional, variable striature which does not deter or impair the utility of the frame.

| A: It should. 5"x7" converts to 12.7 x 17.78 cm which is near enough to the frame size. Photos and artwork can be a little smaller than the frame size because the frame's mouldings rebate will cover small size variations. |

I found these little 5″x7″ natural wood box frames really nifty and chic for my townhouse decor. I put all my friends’ photos in them standing along the wall ledges. Really cool.
