This Framer's Tape II is a specialized, acid-free, solvent-free, archival and yet, highly versatile, picture framing tape.  Made from Mylar, it is flexible, moisture-proof, tough and stronger than linen, Kraft, gummed, or other paper tapes.   It is stable, reliable and lasting, with non-porous film backing, possessing anti-aging-properties and containing noxious plasticizers.  The tape is acid-free, alkaline-buffered and eminently suitable for hinging, taping art on paper, documents, repair, book mending and making folders or custom solander boxes. It enables picture framers, artists, photographers, restorers and other art users to achieve a neat, clean, professional finish and result, especially when mounting and matting mounting artwork.  Additional conservation, preservation and bookbinding applications include restoration, hinging, mending and joining of papers, pages repositioning and repairs to damaged edges.  Physically, it is white, thin and flexible with its long fibres and construction engineered for picture framing applications. Once applied, and if required, this Framer's Tape II Archival Picture Framing Tape may be gently removed with a little heat and leaving previously adhered surfaces without tears.
