Description
This super-thin, see-though, pressure-sensitive Document Repair Tape was designed for and is eminently suitable for acid-free tape-laying and repair of archival document restoration.
It offers important features such as being made of archival quality materials, being non-yellowing, of neutral pH, transparent and removable with solvents. It strengthens and supports tears while its transparency renders it virtually invisible.
Importantly, it is easy to use. Dispense a length of tape, place over the tear, and burnish with a bone folder to embed the adhesive into the tear and surrounding area.
Trusted and approved by numerous government agencies; a preferred choice for museum staff, librarians, conservators and collectors.
Subject to being in stock, order online here and now for prompt dispatch and ( where applicable ) delivery throughout Australia, including Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart, the Gold Coast and Brisbane!

I’ve always been interested in antiques, particularly books. I often contact deceased estates to source stock for my small Brisbane antiques business and frequently come across and buy old books, magazines, reviews, newspapers, documents, letters and allied paper memorabilia. Many have some sort of rips, holes, creases and tears. I am able to mend and repair most of these with this great, Document Repair Tape. It is easy, fast and simple to use. Not to mention that it’s transparent as well, so it’s hard to tell when a page or book have been repaired. Excellent product.
