These are wood picture frames made from MDF ( Medium Density Fibreboard) and considered environmentally friendly because manufactured from reconstituted wood waste which do not contain forest timbers or green wood chips. The optional, removable, spacers inside the frame may be be used to create the 3-Dimensional effect and cast a subtle and elegant shadow if the art has margins wide enough.  If so, the photo or artwork will be 1.5cms sunk in, away from the glass face. The fitted hanger(s) at the back of the frame allow for both portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) wall hanging. No fitting or servicing by a picture framer is needed.
