Yes. Our popular ready-made picture frames are listed here and can be bought online. Some of the mostready-made-picture-frames common, standard picture frames, certificate frames and photo frames sizes are listed in those pages. Because more and more paper art nowadays is printed in standard sizes, ratios and shapes, more and more can be easily and quickly put into a Ready-Made frames by the customers themselves. Take for instance all those paintings your children bring back from school, sometimes several times a week. And if your ..   child's creative or you have more than one child, then you children's' paintings needing picture framing can quickly become very expensive or grow out of your control.

Most schools are now realizing how expensive it can be for parents to frame their children's artwork and are now standardizing artwork paper sizes so that inexpensive, Ready-Made frames may be used. The minimalist, black-look picture frame has also made a strong home decor come back. Gone are those chunky, ornate gold frames or decorated pastel mouldings.

Black Ready-Made frames elegantly enhance artwork and can be used in just about every room of the house or decor setting. Modern art galleries and museum are now favouring this clean, sleek understated look which is far more unifying and versatile than prior or preceding styles. Pre-made frames are a popular, faster, cheaper and economical alternative to custom picture frames, custom photo frames and custom picture framing.

For instance, our popular A0 Ready-Made black picture frame with a 3x2cms frame, clear glass and MDF backing sells for $79.99. A custom-made A0 picture frame would instead cost $192, that's about 3 times the price! Perhaps the only difference is that a print custom-framed would be wet or dry-mounted, and the Ready-Made one would not be. In practical terms, the custom-made frame would show a perfectly flat, mounted print.

The Ready-Made frame would show a slightly uneven, unmounted print. For all other intents and purposes when both frames are hung on the wall you'd have trouble telling them apart. We offer both choices to customers and they can decide whether the higher cost of custom picture framing "custom" look is warranted or not. Ready-Made picture frames are similar to big photo frames. They have flexible tabs or turn buttons at the back of the frames.

These can be easily swung open or bent back. You then take off the backing, put your picture inside, close or bend back the tabs and that's it, you've made your own picture frame, so to speak. So, if your print, poster or artwork is of standard size, isn't precious or treasured and is to be used for decorative purposes only, then do consider an off-the-shelf, Ready-Made picture frame as a handy and viable alternative to a a custom picture frame.

  1. I was here on your site and looked at the range of ready-made photo frames you have and also at the pre-made picture frames. I found a lot of sizes and searched also for 10"x13" black photo frames which I need about couldn’t find it. Can you please email me and tell me where I can find it?

  2. Being a photographer I print lots of photos and I also like to keep a fair few photo frames around the house. Because I have to keep my prices down, I don’t always use professional labs to print all my work. For the smaller pictures, say 11×14", 8×10" and under I just go to office supplies store office works and get them printed on the spot off my USB stick. The printing quality doesn’t have to be superlative for these smaller sizes. What I have to watch out for though is that the printing sizes will fit my photo frames and picture frames which I bought. Often the boys and girls at the office works store are busy and if you don’t check measure, they’ll print your photos smaller or bigger than the standard sizes. So you have to make sure that 8"x10" print is no smaller or bigger that than 8"x10" picture frame or photo frame you may already have bought. As for my photo frames I get them cheap enough here: http://www.pictureframe.com.au/store/car.. Most of my customers are school mums and dads and they want things really super cheap!

  3. Thank God for ready made picture frames! I was selling my house in Carnegie and needed to tart up my house to make it more appealing to buyers. I decided I needed several large, black and white images on my walls to make the rooms look bigger. I bought 12 small, medium and large prints online for the US. These were cheap enough but to custom frame them my local framer wanted more than $4000 !!!! Then I found this factory in Moorabbin and I got pretty much all that I wanted for $980 all up !!! How good is that? Sure the ready made picture frames are plastic and the bespoke ones that my local picture framer quoted me for were wood, but once they’re up on the walls, who can tell and who cares? Anyway I got most of my prints into ready-made picture frames and it must’ve worked because my place sold for more that we’d hoped for !!!!!
