Description
These are superior quality, A0 size, ready-made picture frames with real MDF wood and a thick clear, PS (Polystyrene), plastic glaze. Be cautious of sourcing cheaper, A0 click frames, kit frames, clip frames, snap frames, sandwich frames, or poster holders. Those inferior substitutes often need to be professionally mounted or affixed on walls as they tend to buckle, twist and bend if simply hung. The same can happen with their so-called “lens” glazing acrylics which may bubble and deform with time. This does not happen with our solid, MDF wood, A0 poster frames which stay true, flat and straight on walls.
Ready-Made picture frames are also known as 'Poster Frames', 'Stock Frames','Pre-Made Frames and 'Off-the-shelf frames'. This A0 Black Wood Ready-Made Poster Frame is an off-the-shelf, pre-made, real MDF-wood picture frame with clear plastic and a Craftwood backing board with several tabs at the back to hold everything in place.
The flexible tabs can be bent back to remove the back and insert the print, photo, poster or artwork inside the frame. After inserting the artwork, the tabs are bent back to their original position and the fitted frame may then be hung.
Please Note: After framing a print or poster, some Customers notice occasional paper ripples or buckles under the plastic. This may occur with any ready-made frames no matter who sells them.
It is not a fault with the frame but happens because the paper under the plastic is unmounted ( meaning loose, or not glued down ) and expands and contracts with ambient temperature and humidity.
Should this be important to you, rather than buy this ready-made frame, please have your art custom framed as this includes mounting. However, custom frames are invariably more expensive.
This Ready-Made frame is protected with a clear plastic bag cover for cleanliness and convenience.

This inexpensive A0 Black wood picture frame was tailor-made for my US Kings of Leon jumbo concert posters. The prints I got didn’t really cost me all that much so I didn’t want to go to the expense of getting them bespoke-framed which is just unaffordable for me given that the nearest framer wanted $645 for each or nearly $2,000 for the set of three !!! Great poster frame, well-made and cheap.
