This 40x50 cm Black Box Wood Frame has a pane of clear glass, a 2mm MDF~Craftwood back, several steel flexible tabs to hold the frame firmly together. These are wood picture frames made from MDF ( Medium Density Fibreboard) and considered environmentally friendly because manufactured from reconstituted wood waste which do not contain forest timbers or green wood chips. The tabs can be bent back to remove the back so as to insert the photograph, certificate or artwork inside the frame. After inserting the art, the tabs of this 40x50 cms Black Box Wood Frame can be bent back and the fitted frame may be hung. The fitted hangers at the back of the frame allow for portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) wall hanging. No fitting or servicing by a picture framer is required. These white, wood, 40x50cms box frames are fantastic! I looked everywhere and all over the web before finding these here. In particular I wanted an approximate 16″x20″ size because that’s the size of my US comics art I buy. Before buying these I had to get my art custom picture framed in Brisbane at $180 a pop! I don’t need a picture framer any more now as can put my art inside myself and save heaps!
