These hard-to-find, beautiful UniGift picture frames and photo frames are both Square Picture Frames and Shadow Box Frames. The frame is made from selected, Wood composite (M.D.F.) with a foiled and coloured finish.
These are wood picture frames made from MDF ( Medium Density Fibreboard) and considered environmentally friendly because manufactured from reconstituted wood waste which do not contain forest timbers or green wood chips. It has clear glass, an inner, spaced, off-white, bevelled, window mat (also called a window mount) and a MDF~Craftwood back with several clips or tabs to hold the frame firmly together.
The clever and versatile removable spacers and window mat between the frame and the backing board combine to create the 3-Dimensional effect and cast a subtle and elegant shadow.
Your photo or artwork will be at least 2.8 cm or more sunk in and away from the face of the glass. With this 40x40cm Natural Wood Square Frame & Shadow Box you can easily and quickly turn the flexible tabs or swivel the clips to remove the back, and insert your photo, certificate or artwork, inside the frame.
After inserting the art, the tabs can be closed, or the clips swung back, and the closed frame may then be hung by the sturdy, hinged saw-tooth hanger(s) fitted at the back of the frame. No fitting or servicing by a picture framer is required. These frames have white cardboard corner protectors and are shrink-wrapped for your safety and convenience.

Nice, cheap and quite versatile shadow boxes. In these 40x40cms natural wood frames I can put my photos, etchings, prints, posters, woodcuts, 45rpm vinyls and my freeze dried flowers.
